Russia in 2018. That makes me grumpy for England. I mean, Russia? They've already got the damn Olympics in 2014 (not that London doesn't but that's like six years later). This makes me grrr. #totallyunbiased

I hope (no offense all of you) the 2022s go to Australia and not the States, but I think the US is almost a sure win (then again, I said the same of England).

I know. Ugh. I think because SA 2010 went off so well they're thinking other developing nations is the way to go. But Qatar in June/July? Poor sods are going to melt.

Haha, TR. No but seriously, what do you call it?

It's this contest where people submitted their travel dreams, and the winner gets a 4-night stay in a hotel (contest is hosted by a hotel webiste) in the destination they mentioned in their dream. I called it a South African safari, I didn't know any better. I am ashamed.

I want to see pictures! My dad and his wife went on a not-calling-it-a-safari in Uganda and have awesome pictures.

Qatar in the summer is going to suck and they only have a couple of major cities. I'm betting they spend their copious amounts of money on building several indoor, air-conditioned stadiums for the Cup. I just can't imagine them playing outdoors in Qatar in the summer, especially the teams that come from cooler climates or places in the Southern Hemisphere where it will be winter.
