Let's talk about sweets.

I'm a chocolate lover.  I love anything chocolate as long as it doesn't include fruit.  Like black forest cake?  Waste of my time.  Ny new favourite chocolate is from purdys.  It's pink himalayan salted caramels.  OMG. 

I strongly believe that peanut butter and chocolate are meant for each other as well as caramel and chocolate.

Any desserts you love?  Any recipes to share?  Whatever.  Let's just talk about chochit.

Cupcakes. I love cupcakes, but am surprisingly wary of cake. I made Oreo cupcakes the other day. Just french vanilla cake mix, with crumbled Oreo bits and french vanilla icing. They were yummy.

My best friend and I have what we call Bakefest every month or so, we just get together and make a fancy dinner and bake 500 types of dessert, lol. This weekend we're doing regular red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, and root beer float cupcakes. I also want to try smores cupcakes (chocolate cupcake, marshmallow buttercream frosting, grahm cracker sprinkles).

ETA: Since we're talking about chocolate, I also made Chocolate chocolate chocolate cupcakes once. Chocolate cake mix, chocolate fudge frosting with chocolate chips on top. Yum.

I made a white cupcakes with oreo cookies in them. They were pretty amazing. I  also love Lindt chocolate and get thrilled around Christmas because I can find it anywhere.

So I got this Bundt cake thing. It's in the shape of a castle..Stupid question, can I use this for a normal chocolate cake? You'd think with the amount I bake I would know the answer to this.

Yum.  One of my friends made oreo cupcakes.

She did it with chocolate cupcakes, swirled cream cheese icing in the batter to bake it all together, cream cheese icing on top, and crumbled oreos on top of that.  They were deeelish.

Chocolate and salt is incredible. 

My favourite easy thing to make that people love are cake bites with chocolate cake and cream cheese.

I, too, agree that peanut butter & chocolate are God's gift to man. When I was little I took a big spoonful of peanut butter and sprinkled m&m's on it. That was before the invention of the peanut butter m&m, of course.

mandy, I'm down with your love for chocolate and peanut butter AND your love for chocolate and caramel.  I'm pretty sure chocolate is a bigamist.  If not, he should be.

However, I am not discriminatory.  Chocolate with fruit is a-ok with me too.  White chocolate, on the other hand, is never ok.  It's not even chocolate!  Yuck.

And cream cheese frosting.  It doesn't even need to be on anything, just the cream cheese frosting is all I need.  I can't stand carrot cake but I love the frosting.  It's the only kind of frosting I like.

I hate white chocolate.  And I do love chocolate covered craisins.  Which to me aren't fruit. 

And fondue is totally cool and legit in my book.

Oreo truffles are my specialty!

Take one package of oreo cookies and put them in the food processor to turn them into fine bits.  Mix in 16 oz of cream cheese.  Roll into small balls and dip in what ever kind of chocolate you prefer (I'm a dark chocolate lover).  Refridgerate until the chocolate is hard.

Has anyone else seen the giant Reese's Cups?  They come two to a package, and I think they're each a half pound of deliciousness.  FI and I have never met a candy we didn't like, but these were super-rich.  Even with teamwork, we couldn't finish half of one in a day.
