Hi all, this is my first time posting, so please be kind!

I have been at my job for almost 6 years. One of my bridesmaids (who I work with) invited EVERYONE from the office to her wedding this past January. (She's there 15 or so years) Besides her, I have another co-worker in my wedding party, and I'm definitely inviting one other woman who I work closely with and have spent some time with outside of the office.
My problem is, my boss is an a**-hole. Like complete, total douche, and in the time that I've been there, office morale has gone WAAAYYYYY down. Pretty much everyone hates him. His wife on the other hand, who also works there, is the sweetest woman. (How she puts up with him, I have no idea) I would LOVE to have her there, but obviously, I can't invite her & not my boss. I also have 2 other superiors who I have no problem inviting because they are very nice people. (brother & cousin of the owner) I know etiquette says it's the right thing to do to invite the boss, even if they decline, but I'm afraid if he comes, he will be very judgemental and make me feel like crap. He has no qualms saying how he REALLY feels, or talking down to you at work, so why should this be any different? It's no secret that he is wealthy, and well, I'm not. I just have a sinking feeling he will find a million things wrong with my wedding and make it known either there or at work afterwards.
I should mention, my office is a small family owned business with only about 16 people, so for the most part it's like we have all become part of this very dysfunctional family.
Should I just suck it up and invite him (and the 2 other bosses as well?) Or just scratch them off the list completely. I feel like this is a lose lose situation. He will be offended if he doesn't get invited, or he will find something to complain about while he's there. Please help! Thanks ladies! (Sorry so long)
