When I was 16, I went into an AOL teen chatroom and pretended to be Shakira.  When someone challenged me, I c+p'd some Spanish from freetranslation.com into the board, and then all of a sudden all these people were like "OMMMGGGG!!! I LOOOVVVEE YOUR MUSIC!!!!!!  PLZ ADD ME AS A FRND!!!"

I wish I could say I was in 7th grade like Shelly...

I'm just a lurker, but I have to say, it was hilarious.  FI was like, what are you over there snickering about? as I was reading Roxy and LisaRose's posts, and looking at her profile.

I was telling a coworker about this chick and we got talking about how we all had these fantasies in middle school.  She was supposed to be the future Mrs Donny Osmond....I was supposed to be the future Mrs Jordan Knight.  The difference with us is that we knew this was FANTASY.  We didn't go around making wedding plans and pricing dresses, venues, and houses like this chick was doing.

I just read her reply to Roxy.  She was "helping her little sister play wedding planner"....riiiiight.  Has this girl not heard of google?  Was it necessary to create a profile on TK 3 weeks before she started asking people for price info and advice on buying a house in FL, instead of just looking up the information herself?
