Program etiquette

My fiance's father passed a few years ago and I want to include him under the Parent's of the Groom portion on the program and I am not sure what to say.  I was thinking The Late John Smith or John Smith (deceased)....or something like that.  I am just not sure how to say it.  Please help!

I would just put something towards the end like a "In Memory," that is what we did for our grandparents, etc who passed away. I wrote something like "we wish to remember our loved ones who have gone before us. We know they are here with us in spirit. The special ways in which they touched our lives will be in our hearts forever." And/or you could list their names, I have seen that done as well.
