Now I'm trying to think of what to do for dinner. Our cupboards are BARE and nothing delivers.  I'd kill for some good Chinese food right now, but alas.

We're having leftovers-either cheese tortellini with chicken sausage, or chicken & rice. I just had breakfast, it's funny to think that you're getting ready for dinner

Not really. H is the only one legal to drive here and he's sick and I don't want to ride my bike or walk.

But I've been terrible on my diet and exercise plan since Thanksgiving - and this is supposed to be "ZOMG GET BACK ON THE WAGON" week. Chinese food does not match that plan. BOOOO.

Kebab shops are here.  But they are ALL in the center of town, which requires a drive and paid parking.

Curse you for making me want Chinese food right now.  Do you know where there's good Chinese food in Tampa?  Um, nowhere.  Basically, I have to make it, and I don't know how to make anything other than fried rice, rice soup and potstickers.

You know... I've never eaten Chinese here. I had terrible experiences with overseas Chinese food.

Ugh now I miss Chinese food. I grew up near Flushing Queens (which is arguably more of a Chinatown than the one in Manhattan at this point) I miss real Chinese food. The stuff near where I live is terrible. FI loves it too. :P

Oh man. Chinese does sound delicious. We're trying to fit in a few of our favorite restaurants here before we move on Saturday. The leftovers may have to wait.

Megan I don't know what part of the greater DC area you live in but Grace Garden In Odenton, MD is supposed to be fabulous. My old co-worker who is originally from China raves about it. We rarely leave the city to eat so I haven't tried it yet but I keep meaning to.

Getting back on the healthy food bandwagon before January 1st should be illegal.

At the very least, it is morally wrong.
