Cake Tasting and almost Check :)

So FI and I went to have our cake tasting today and it was AWESOME! I wish I could have brought some cake home with me, but then again, that would have been bad for the diet hah. Im super Excited!! :) We'll be going with a relatively newer bakery, but its a local one which makes me extremely happy because I love to support local buisness.-Stick Boy- in Fuquay :)  Wahoo!

    Yay! That's awesome. We go for ours in 2 weeks. I am so hungry for cake now!

    Woo Cake is delicious! Sadly though, I've had wayy too many sweets lately. We also made chocolate chip cookies for our new neighbors last night, but ended up giving them something else as a house warming / welcome to the neighborhood gift. . so now we have 2 dozen freaking cookies For cake flavors we went with Vanilla, Chocolate and Red Velvet For cake fillings we tried chocolate ganache, chocolate and raspberry, and cream cheese Our icing will be buttercream The winner was Red Velvet with cream cheese . .. it was osoooooo yummy! Plus, red velvet has always been a fav. of mine :) We might also have chocolate covered fruit along the outside of the cake (the edges), but thats still undecided. Im taking a sample STD back to the bakery today so that they can give me a sketch with the design I'd like to have :) Super excited :) (and on a sugar rush if that isnt apparent already)

    Yummmm - we did red velvet too and it was a HUGE hit!  Go cake!

    Sweeet! I think it'll be a good choice and the price isnt bad at all compared to other places that I've looked. Im just happy things are finally starting to come together :)
