My mother and aunt are throwing me a bridal shower and my aunt wants to have it on a Friday night. It'll be right before Labor Day and she doesn't feel it's right to ask people to give up a part of their weekend during the summer. I think it's more her shelfish reasons, she basically lives on her boat on the weekends.
My problem with this is people work on Fridays and some of the people we are inviting are going to have a little bit of a drive to get there. I don't want people to have to rush or adjust their work schedules for my wedding shower.
Has anyone done a Friday night or any weeknight bridal shower and how did it work out? Or I would just like peoples thoughts on this.
