Isn't it supposed to be bad for you and mess up all of your PH levels and stuff down there? That's what I've always heard/been told.

Yeah, it can cause infection and lead to yeast infections and all that yucky jazz. I thought that was common knowledge, but I've been reading about people doing it lately and it got me thinking.

Ask any gyno and they will tell you to never ever do that.  It messes up the ph, washes out the good bacteria and *if* you have any kind of infection, it pushes it further into your body.  No bueno.

Yeah. The vagina is a self-cleaning organ, so as long as you keep yourself fairly clean, it all takes care of itself.
