Me?

1) My neice is going to find out soon if she is a candidate for cochlear implants. However, yesterday, she said DADADADDADDA, which they didn't think she'd be able to do. AWESOME. We cried.

2) I'm in a spelling bee tomorrow as we all know, and I've done an embarassing amount of studying for it. I like to win, even if it means beating 6th graders.

3) I had a long week at work. A lot going on and it's stressed me out to the max. I'm feeling much better today. I'm glad my mom is here. Sometimes, a girl just needs her mom.

tres. I have to wake up at the butt crack of dawn tomorrow and I am not happy about it one bit.

2) His company, which offered to help me find a spot, basically blew me off this morning.

Aww, fishy, 1 is so great.  Hooray for her!

1)  FI's best friend and his wife and big funny adorable dog are coming to stay with us all weekend from STL.  They are great and I can't wait to hang out with them, which usually involves mostly drinking beer, eating pizza, and playing Wii.

  I'm going to run my first marathon this fall.  I can't wait to register and have a new project on the horizon for post-wedding.

Magazines)  I'm going to Alabama for work next week.  Thanks to my awesome boss, the holiday on Monday, and my travel schedule, after today I won't physically be in my office again until next Friday.  Woo!

Awesome news about your niece, Fishy!!

1) I started my first week of my last semester of my graduate program on Monday and I'm stoked. The end is in sight!

2) My freaking puppy still isn't house broken and it's driving me insane. I feel like a big fat puppy mom failure

3) I'm getting my big rib tattoo started tomorrow and I'm very excited, despite the fact that it's really going to hurt.

1) Im still unemployed and havnt found anything worth while to apply to in a week and a half now. Im still unwilling to apply to crap jobs for the sake of having a job, but its getting boring and I feel like my husband thinks im a bum.

2) To relieve my boredom, i want to see if I can work personal training sessions into our budget, I know my husband wont go for that though so im reluctant to bring it up. He will probably say I need to get a job before I can do that again.

3) I miss gardening. Lately I have been mentally planning out what I am going to put in my vegetable/herb garden and it really makes me wish it was spring so I could get started on it.

1- Last night my friend mentioned her goal of making 6 figures by 30, saying she was almost there. I turned 31 on Wednesday and Im almost halfway there. I often think about changing career paths, but this one is very family friendly. Plus, I like working for non-profits. She works at a major corporation and admits that her job adds nothing to better the world. Its something I am thinking about lately.

2- I am really overwhelmed at work and my job is morphing into something I never thought it would be, nor am I suited for. I love the people I work with, but I feel stupid most days, and that's not a welcome feeling..

3- Wedding planning is going swimmingly. Im so excited we found a kick-ass deal for our photography, so now we can afford other stuff.

I'm glad you asked! 

1) I had a job interview on Monday and I have another one today.  I wasn't very nervous for the one on Monday b/c I kind of knew I didn't really want the job.  But I am very nervous about the one today b/c if they can pay me what I want to make, I would love to take the job. 

2) I'm going to be singing in a burlesque show in March and had my first practice last week and a meeting last night.  It's going to be fun and something totally outside of my norm.  I won't be dancing though, just singing. 

3) I can't really think of anything else worth mentioning....

Let's see . . .
1.  I had to make a bug costume last night for my daughter's "Going Buggy" show at her school.  I know that there will be store-bought and professional-seamstress-quality costumes on the stage,  but for now daughter is happy with her costume. 

2.  Work is about to get unbelievably busy for the next two months, then it will be a long quiet summer. 

3.  I am kind of dreading having the "finances" talk with fi.  I'm putting it off until March or so, when work calms down.

She is doing okay, fishy.  They are very religious Catholics and she told me that even though they're sad, their faith is really helping them through.  She told me they are going to TTC again ASAP, so fingers are crossed for them.

1). My friend just asked me to be the godmother of her two beautiful new baby twins.  So happy about that.  It really touched me.  I am so honored.

2). Not only is my mother moving to GA next month, my sister is too.  I feel like I'll be whole again - it will be really good to have my mom with me.

3). I have a friend who just found out she's pregnant.  I was genuinely happy for her - not a jealous pang to be found.  I think I've decided no more kids for me.

4). I'm really in the swing of this wedding planning.  I just hope I can pull it all off.

Good for your little niece, Fish and ROCK THAT SPELLING BEE!!!  Bring those 11-year olds down!!!

1. I have two weeks to get my house on the market to stay on schedule with my life plan for 2010. Never gonna happen.

2. This week Manda put her deposit on her beach house for Senior Week after graduation, and it made me more sad than ordering her cap and gown even. I don't want my little girl to grow up.

3. DH is having minor surgery on Monday and will be with me all next week. It will almost be like we're living together, and that excites me to no end. All but the whiney man-boy part.

FutureMrsTR

1)  FI and I decided that unless a spectacular job comes up in the perfect place, we're going to stay in DE until after the wedding even if it means he has to stay on unemployment.  It just works out better financially and wedding planning-wise.

2)  FI and I joined a community dodgeball league and it's really fun, but the whole right side of my shoulder & back are killing me even though I've been working out and I thougt I was in good shape.

3)  I'm perpetually cranky because I'm just finishing the 2nd week in a 12-week stretch of no vacation days from work because there aren't any holidays and I have to save up almost all of my vacation for the wedding.  Oh, and I hate my job, haha.

1) I'm in my last semester of my Associate Degree and I''m continuing to my Bachelors in March.  It's been a really long road and I'm super proud.

2) My husband is going to help me build a "closet" out of our other tiny bedroom as a birthday/graduation present.  My house doesn't have any closets (it has eaves instead) so this is SUPER huge for me.  I might actually be able to find my clothes for once.

3) I'm really excited that winter is about half over.  I can't wait for warm weather.  Today is a tease, it's supposed to be 45 out!

1)  Jocelyn has learned her ABC's completely, can count to 10 and can spell her name all on command.  Until this week we'd have to do them with her.  She only just turned 2 in October, I think she's pretty amazing!

2)  We decided on a vacation for the spring.  We're going to Treasure Island, FL, we found a really cute apartment to stay in on the beach.  It is really  helping my workout motivation.  I even hung pictures of St Petersburg all over our house to keep me motivated.

3)  Mr Stack is so close to getting a promotion at work, which would be incredibly awesome.  He has laid all of the ground work and basically all he needs to do is tell management at their next one on one meeting that "he's ready".  He has worked so hard, I really hope they don't disappoint him or give him the run around. 

4)  SIL is due in the next few weeks so I'll have another nephew.  She is naming him Kherrington Josiah.  BIL is having a girl in May.  yea for babies!

Something office related (admin or marketing), its vague. Ive decided though I am NOT willing to work at a small organization again. My last 3 jobs have been with small companies and working backwards - I lost my job because the economy hit them hard, I had to quit the job before that because the economy hit them hard and my hours were cut (and they were assholes), and the job before that the manager was a raging psycho and I was tired of being yelled at for being an idiot. I would preferably like to work somewhere larger and more established - Ive been searching a lot of government/city jobs, healthcare admin, in the school systems here. The bigger employers.

1. I am one CC payment away from having zero debt for the first time since I was 19.

I am experiencing my first round of facebook drama (lol) I had a status update the other day making a joke about posting my underwear color for Haiti awareness and one of FI's friend's wife took it way too personal and thinks I am making fun of breast cancer (I'm not at all) She needs to get a life, get a sense of humor and put her big girl pants on.  People have different opinions get over it.  I thought the color thing was lame b/c I had no idea WTF was going on, she thought it was soooo super awesome!!!11!!!1!!  Her comments to me were extremely rude & embarrassing.  Don't post that crap on my facebook, call me or something.  Are we 12?

3. I might adopt another dog this weekend if she gets along with my other dogs.

2. I just started my last semester of my undergraduate career and I've officially decided not to apply for internships this year, and to start grad school in the fall instead.

1)  DH and I decided we're not going to buy a vacay home in the mountains yet.  I want to stay home for a few years when we have kids, and so the added expense of children as well as a 2nd mortgage is a lot on one income, so we're holding off.  I'm bummed, but at the same time a little relieved.  Instead we can spend a little extra money on some home improvement projects we want for our house, and owning a second home was going to be a huge time commitment as well as financial.

2)  SIL is pregnant and smug and clueless.  She's buying tons of baby stuff even though she still has at least 3 weeks in her first trimester.  She probably doesn't even know what that means.  In response to a suggestion to look for some items on Craigslist, she said, "No!  I'm getting all new stuff.  [Her husband's sister] got all new stuff, so I better get new stuff, too."  Ah, so now I see what is going on.  This is a competition.  Just like everything else.  Have fun with that.

3)  I'm trying a new time management thing where I map out all of my time in 1/2 hour increments.  It really helped me be super productive earlier this week--I've already got more billable hours this month than I had in all of December.  But as you can see, I'm losing steam and back on the knot.  TGIF!

unus) My husband is working fulltime, so is pretty dog-tired on his days off. Yet he still got the girls from the bus yesterday AND had dinner almost finished by the time I got home from work yesterday.

duae)My ex-husband is still WAY behind in his child support payments, yet managed to scrape together enough money to officiate a wrestling tournament in Nice, France last November. Talk about a warped sense of priorities.

tria) Our choir director at church has recommended my daughter for a program at St. Thomas Choir School in NYC. She's too young this year, but next year, I think she's going to try for it. Not quite sure how we will pay for it if she gets accepted, but I suspect Grandma will be happy to put up the funds.

1. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed at work lately. My boss gave me the highest rating possible on my performance eval and immediately dumped a shitton of work on me. I have at least 5 projects going on right now while my peers either have one or none. I am telling myself that it's an opportunity to stretch and prove that I am ready for a promotion, but damn, I'm tired.

2. I have to sign Ben up for kindergarten this month and it makes me sad. He is becoming a little man and I'm very proud of what a gentleman he is.  

3. My wedding is getting so close and I really don't want to do anything but show up.

2. I'm getting really sick of being turned down for mindless, low pay jobs.  (Target, restaurants) I'd be happy with any income right now just so I can get out of the house.  Reason for not hiring: "We don't like to hire people with your qualifications because they'll just leave us if a better job offer comes around."

3. My niece keeps asking if I'm pregnant yet. Apparently, in the world of 7 year olds you're supposed to have a baby right after you get married.

1. I'm on my second week of grad school. Full time school + full time work = stress maximus.

2. Something is making me feel sick/crappy/miserable. I think its the stress, but it seems like pregnancy symptoms. I POAS and it was neg. DH wants a baby soon, but I know (and his responsible side knows) that we are way too busy right now.

3. I brought Lily dog to work today and that makes me happy.
