Addresses

I asked my FMIL for the addresses for my FI's side of the family probably a month ago. She told me she was busy that day, but would send them to me soon. Since then I have brought it up a few times, while trying not to sound demanding. A week ago I asked her if she could send me the names of all my FI's cousins and their children when she sends the addresses, so I could get an accurate head count. (My FI has a TON of cousins that he hasnt seen or talked to in a while and doesn't know how many kids they each have.) Still nothing! I am not sure what to do. I don't want to keep asking, but at the same time I really need them. They all live out of town and I want to send them STDs.

What do I do?

Re: Addresses

  • Get your fiance to call.

  • Have your FI make a list of all of the family members on his side that he wants invited.  Have HIM give her the list and say, this is who we're inviting, can you please make sure everyone is on there, we need this back by (x-date).  If she doesn't get it back by the agreed date, then your FI should keep bugging her about it.  Let him deal with his family.

    Agree.

  • Make you FI do it. That is what I did.  I am still waiting on two addresses.  I have decided it is not my problem, and if they don't get invited that will be on him and he can explain it to them.

  • Thanks! I definitely will have him talk to her about it.
