Good evening ladies.

I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to my dilema that I posted this am. I really appreciate all of the thoughts and advice. I will stick it out here with H even though things just aren't good right now =( until we can find something somewhere else.

And I also wanted to say that I never intended to offend anyone about what I say about living in the south, I guess I should have thought about that more. It is just frustrating that regardless of what you do it seems like there are no good paying jobs here even with a degree.

Missy, it's not just the pic.  It's the pic, ticker and OHIO logo... all of that together can make some people stabby.

Missy, I think a huge chunk of your problem is your mindset.  You hate the south so much because it isn't Ohio, which really isn't a good reason.  Give it a chance.  You might just find that you like it, at least enough.  You're probably giving off the "I don't want to be here, I'm better than this" vibe to people you meet IRL, too, which certainly can't help any job interviews you're going on.

I missed the beginning of all this but Missy I can tell you jobs are hard to come by everywhere right now.  Especially in Ohio and especially in your field. I know many licensed teachers who have had to take jobs in preschools because they can't get into an elementary/middle/high school which then pushes preschool teachers without licenses out of jobs completely.
