Help me with my hair?

So I've always been a compulsive hair dye-er, and I've been itching not doing anything to it because of the wedding. I was thinking about changing it up a little but I can't decide if I want to lighten, darken, redden, or what. I have these two pictures of me with the extremes, which I wouldn't do either, but I can't decide which direction to go...

Darker, but not this dark? (pardon H looking like a mountain man)



Lighter but not this light? (I can't believe my hair didn't fall out doing this)




My natural color is about what my wedding pics are. I'm leaning right now towards maybe caramel highlights?

I like it darker better.  I think the carmel highlights in your hair color now would look pretty.

I'm with the others, I really like what you've got now.  If you're looking to mix it up, maybe try a reddish tint?  That would look pretty

Caramel highlights FTW. Your hair is beautiful, though! I'd definitely keep it dark.

I like doing it reddish chels, the only thing I don't like is it's gone after like a couple washes. Then I'm back to square one, you know?

Yup, Caramel highlights. Darker really looks really pretty on you. I would keep it the way it is with the highlights.

Darker with caramel hilights.  As a redhead, I would usually lean toward a reddish hue, but since you want it to last longer, I vote for caramel.

Getting it that blonde took months Rach, I did a highlighting cap over and over. Like 8 times. Like I said, I cannot believe it didn't fall out. It was fun to have but I don't think I could do it again.

I really like the darker hair on you. My vote is for something close to your natural colour with some warm highlights.

Ditto everyone on the caramel highlights.

I also wanted to say that I'm kind of jealous that the blond looks just as cute on you as the dark. I've got dark brown hair and went pretty blond once just to see how I liked it, but it looked pretty bad.
