New Jersey

Where did you buy your invitations?

Yesterday I posted about using Cam Turner for custom stationery.  Before I see her (and spend a lot of $$) I'd like to see what is already out there... I visited 2 stores, one local and one chain (the Papery).

Any suggestions for great stationery places in NJ?  We are looking for something modern and contemporary, hopefully with a block letter monogram.

Thanks a lot!

Holland Designs is in central Jersey. Megan does custom invitations and I thought she was reasonable.
When I got the samples from online retailers the quality wasn't good.

I'm currently working with Invitations Et Cetera in Livingston.  They helped piece together the elements I'm specifically looking for and found the right source to print the design I created myself onto the invites.

Not sure where you are located in Jersey but I would recommend Christine from Set The Date in Nutley, NJ.  She has been great to work with!  www.setthedate.net/

Just found mine in Papyrus yesterday but going to go through an independent contractor who can get me a better price. They are William Arthur.

I went to the Papery in Summit, got invitations by Encore that we love. They have a ton of options there and they were printed amazingly fast.

We used the Papery in Summit for all paper--save-the dates, invitations, ceremony programs, menus, escort cards, thank you cards. My mom used the Papery in Denville for shower invites, place cards & thank you cards.

Everything came out great and they were really helpful with etiquette, wording, etc.  Good luck!

I got letterpress invitations online for significantly less than I would have paid in a store at http://invitationsbyajalon.com.

::old knottie (now bumpie) here lurking::

I used Cam Turner for my stationery, and she is truly amazing. Definitely expensive, but her work is great. I highly recommend her. If you want more of a DIY project, I ordered my e-party and RD invites from mygatsby.com, and they came out great.
