Morning everyone!! It looks like we'll be getting some of IDA the next couple of days. I'm getting the rest of my candles for centerpieces today and they'll only cost me a total of 5 bucks!! Aside from that, that's the extent of my day so far, but will probably change. What is everyone else up to? Have a wonderful day!!

    Work, work, work!!  But, I have tomorrow off, it is the 3 year anniversary of my first date with the FI and we are going to our venue for our reception tasting!  I can't wait!!  If I can just get through the stack of work to be done on my desk............

    Aww, Thats exciting! We haven't done any food tastings yet, but from what I've heard, they're a lot of fun and exciting. Our cake tasting was great :) Congrats on the anniversary! You'll have a new one to look forward to in a couple of months!! Hopefully this day will go very quickly for you :)

    Good morning! I am going to print my new programs today, since me and Martha are officially no longer friends. Today is my last day of work before the big day! Pray that Ida stays away this weekend!!!

    Jessica, I've got my fingers crossed for you! It looks like the rain will only be through Thursday :) Have fun printing! I'm going to start hot glueing ribbon on candles. . this should be fun :)

    I'm off to work. Shouldn't be a busy day, though. I need my supervisor to be around before I can do anything new. Last night I tried to paint some votive cups for the reception tables.... but I'm not sure I like what I've done. We'll see if I can get them cute enough to satisfy me.

    Good morning! I'm not excited about this icky weather over the next few days. I am hoping for nice weather this weekend so I'm glad we're getting it over with now.GL finishing up your programs Jessica!

    ugh!!! my pt vfib arrested again tonight!!! different patient but same scenario. chest compressions and shock! I did better tonight. At least I didn't cry. =/ I actually feel a lot better, like knowing I can actually do this. I can't believe this happened two shifts in a row for me...I think they are testing me...lol.

    Good morning!  FI and I met with a Videographer last night and we LOVE them!  They are just starting up but their work so far is very high quality and their prices can't be beat!  They mentioned that they would love to book some more weddings before the end of the year and that they would give a big discount to anyone getting married before 2010.  If you are interested, let me know! Jessica, good luck with the programs.  Beka, have fun with the candles! I'm sure they will look great.  Hope work goes by quickly for you LBM!

    Poor Mel - that sounds rough.  Good thing you are such a star though and saved your patient.Jessica - I'm doing a no rain dance for you in my office and will do it once a day until your wedding. NO RAIN!!!GL with the hectic work schedules, hot gluing (sp?) ribbons, and everything else!Oh, and GOOOOOD morning.

    Mel I think with all the karma you're racking up you'll get at least a week of no patients trying to die on you soon. :)Today is FI's birthday, and he has the afternoon off so I'm taking off too. We're doing a fancy lunch, going to a movie and then I'm making a crazy bad-for-us dinner. Also we're going to a lecture about the history of medical education in the middle east. Yes, that's what FI wants to do on his b-day. He's so adorable.Hope everyone else has a nice Tuesday and Jessica it will totally stop raining soon- Ida's gotta understand girl stuff like weddings right?

    Good Morning!  Jess -- no worries...I think rain is supposed to be gone by Friday.  Vibes your way.  I'm in the midst of seating chart hell...I really don't want to do one at all but I feel like i need to.  Also, my RSVPs are still fluid...and we're freakin' 11 days out.  I had someone email me this morning saying they can't make it after all (after RSVPing yes)...at least they told me prior to turning in final counts tomorrow!  Anyway...back to the seating chart I go to make changes :) I'm ready for the honeymoon!!!

    mel - kisses to ya for what you do MWAH...mom's a nurse and i could never do it but it takes someone with special heart to keep going like you do!!!jessica - martha is a crook anyways...you have better friends here!!! d@mn her for making everything look so simple!!!so i thought i was OFFICIALLY inducted into the New Homeowners club by closing on our house yesterday and signing our life away....HA HA HA...jokes on me and the fun has just begun!!! the power company screwed up big time and cut power off at both places yesterday!! still fighting with them to get it back on at the new house. i hate big companies that are nasty to customers b/c they can and b/c they have to use their services!!! evidently since they are such a huge company  "they no longer have managers and just have a customer service department" that constantly repeats "i'm sorry ma'am, we made a mistake on your paperwork but there is nothing we can do" HA!! oh well, not going to do me any good to stay mad about it, hopefully we will have power this evening.

    it sucks!!! i give up!!! (waving white flag)i love my new house but seriously i guess we will have to live like cave people....considering duke power just informed me they "closed your account as requested"....WTF??? this is the craziest crap i have ever had to deal with and i have to have power but i am about to lose my sanity!!!

    That's some serious Bull!! I hope everything starts to come together for you!! I know our new neighbors have had a couple snags since they first moved in. TimeWarner has been throwing them for a huge loop so we unlocked our Web so that they could use it and work from home. Some Corporate companies really should work on their people skills.     Booo - you need power, Amanda.  Bad big companies.  If I am President - I will also make sure that large companies are forced to hire real people to answer their phones instead of the computerized menu system.  Also - I would probably force TWC into bankruptcy because they annoy me.Wait, this makes me sound like a dictator...
