How did you include your stepparents?

We're having the cermemony at the same place as the reception.  It won't be an overly religious ceremony.  How can I include my step mom and step dad in the ceremony and/or at the reception?

    I just had her walked into the church and then introduced at the reception with my dad.

    ditto - FI's step mom is walking down the aisle with FI's dad and being announced at the reception. She's going to have a wristlet of flowers as well.
