Engagement photo locations?

Hi ladies!

I am scheduled to take my engagement pictures on oct 19th... I just don't know where?? I really like liberty state park but it'll be a Friday and my fianc won't get home from work till 4 and then shower travel time I'm afraid we won't make it with enough day light.. Does anyone have suggestions near Edison central jersey that might have a similar look to liberty state park? I'm looking for something that has more to it than just grass and trees... Please help!!! Thanks!!

Hi I live in Edison, and we r taking our wedding pics at Mindowwaskin Park in Westfield, but we took our engagement pics in LSP and they came out AMAzing! Maybe ur fiancee can leave work early? EVeryone comments that the background in the pics r gorgeous!

Times Square at night with everything lit up would be awesome.

It's getting dark so early in the fall...I would try to find a cool indoor spot.

Those are great ideas I will check them all out! I'm hoping he can take a 1/2 day that day so fingers crossed!! And then there is the question of what to wear??? October is such a funny time bc it can be either chilly or warm eekk... So many things to think about lol

I'm not familiar with Liberty State park... What are good spots for photos? I'm sure my photographer will know some but I love the background of your pics!!

OMG thanks! This was the most fun part of the wedding process by far!  I can write u a novel about this but there is one area of the park-ur photog will know it that has an old train station (we couldnt get in cause it was closing but maybe u can) an old train, binoculars, and lots of views of Manhattan. I suggest going beforehand if u can, we did that and played w the binoculars, train, etc, and we really knew what we were doing when the photog came. If u cant go beforehand its ok, my photog knew exactly what to do!!!!!!!! Have so much fun and please post pics!

Hi!! My fiance and I are doing our shoot on 10-28 and we're scouting out places too! Right now Verona Park, Rutgers Gardens and 90 acres are leading. Places are beautiful and the drives aren't that bad. We are in the Edison area also. Hope this helps & Good Luck!!!

Sooo upset ladies!! We're supposed to take our pics tomorrow at liberty state park... my FI even took a half day and the forecast is nothing but rain!!! =( What do I do??

April, are there indoors spots at the Liberty state park?
