Need Contemporary Processional Music!

All music will be on CD. The Prelude will be the only instrumental music.....Celtic Harp. When we sign the licence it will be "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol. Recessional is "Before You" by Chantal Kreviazuk. Our first dance is going to be "You Can Count on Me" by Default. So we're a pretty contemporary, alternative couple! But I am SO stuck on Processional music!!!! Considering "Clocks" by Coldplay for the Bridal Party, but I'm not even sure about that.....I know I want upbeat....but I have NO ideas for what I should enter to. Any recommendations???

Our processional song is the instrumental version of Viva La Vida by coldplay...alittle faster but I love it for the bridal party.

Have you checked out the Vitamin String Quartet yet? Youtube them.... they have a lot of new songs done completely instrumental.... we're probably using I'm Yours by Jason Mraz by them :-)

"Magnetic Fields was also mentioned and their Book of Love song is great as well "Heh, that's actually the one I'm using - just didn't mention it because I wasn't sure if it was upbeat enough.

I highly recommend "Only You" by Joshua Radin (you can listen to it at lyrics.com). I'm thinking of using it as my processional. Good luck!

eh upbeat/peppy music is overrated - a crapton of people use Canon and I don't think that is that peppy. Besides, you don't want too upbeat - you get too upbeat and it borders on insane, just imagine a bride walking down the aisle to "walking on sunshine" or something - I foresee skipping, so yeah go with what you love
