Black Friday Shopping Deals...

Here's some info on what some stores will be discounting and their specials for the day after Thanksgiving. [url]http://www.walletpop.com/specials/black-friday-deals [/url] BTW, it says that Lowes is going to have a 6.5" pre-lit Christmas tree for $38! ...Wasn't someone looking for a cheap one for this year before they invest in a big, expensive one?

Thanks so much for the heads up on the sales!  I love black Friday sales!  I just wish the stores would really stock up on the special deals and not just limit it to the people who can luck up and get it first!  It's a dangerous world in those stores when they limit it to only a couple of items in store!  Do you remember last year when that Wal-Mart worker was trampled to death!  That was so horrific!

So true Leigh Anne, not only do I not want to be up at 5am but I'm never alert enough then to avoid being stampeded. Still, there are some good deals and I love that black Friday has sort of taken over the web too! That way I can stay in my PJs and shop while digesting Thanksgiving.

Ok...so here is my confession, I have NEVER experienced black friday. This will be my first year and I am on the prowl for a lap top and stuff for our new house. I have to admit, I'm not sure I will actually go thru with it. I hate crowds!

My mom and I have gone black Friday shopping every year since I was in HS. It is crazy, she and I kind of make it a mother/daughter event.

Yep...like PP, every year since at least middle school, my mom and sisters have hit black friday in a big way.  This year, I will forgo black friday deals in favor of...my HONEYMOON!  Woohoo!  I have to admit, I gave only a little thought to missing Thanksgiving...I was a little more disappointed to miss Friday shopping Like PP, it's an annual girls day in our family.

That was me with the Christmas tree - but I wanted a 7.5' or 8' one - my mom is going to loan me their tree since I gave them my lime green skinny tree last year. So, that'll give us time to stock up on the deals following this season.As for black friday - a lot of stores will ofter the same deals they offer in-store, online. Last year, I logged into Staples.com and they had all their black friday deals already listed and I was able to order and get free shipping.So, I didn't have to wake up early after all.
