I know I'm risking sounding very, very corny...but I HONESTLY love the song "Kiss the Girl" from the Little Mermaid.  I just think it's so cute!!!

I honestly can't tell you what the cake cutting song was for any wedding I've ever been too! lol.Half the time, I hear people say "When did they cut the cake?  I missed it!"I think you should use whatever you want.....no one but you will notice!

i thought "and then he kissed me" was great- and this is the only thing we have disagreed on thru out our wedding planning...so im not complaining...but i dont think its that appropriate....he's a scorpio - hes not backing down lol

We had "how sweet it is" and I can honestly say I don't remember it at all.  I'm sure for the video it will be great.  If your FI really wants that song then I say let him have it.

To be completely honest.......on the day of, you won't remember what song they played and neither will your guests!   Just sayin try not to overthink all the songs for various things........we were getting out of control with it and in the end jsut had the band play backing track instrumentals and it all went well.

I Kissed a Girl would be kind of funny, but I would think it is trashy.  And older guests may be offended.

It depends on your crowd. I wouldn't be a fan if I heard that song played during the cake cutting and I know my older guests really wouldn't appreciate it.

i dont think 1 person at my wedding could tell me what song played during the cake cutting, so i'd just pick whatever you like.  you're likely the only two will will notice.  we did sweet pea.

I think that songs come across as trashy.  PPs are right that  no one will notice your song choices UNLESS they are something that really stick out, and I think this song would in a bad way.

I totally agree with User --- I know my song was by Harry Conick Jr but I honestly don't remember the name or even remember hearing it -- hmmm.....did they actually even play it LOL

we arent sure, we were thinking of the song from shrek, i think it is a beatles song, I'm a believer, but the more I think about it the more I dont like it.   But most cake cutting songs seem cheesy
