wedding dress repair questions

Can anyone recommend a good (and not crazy expensive) dry cleaner/tailor who could fix my wedding dress? I am in Hoboken but can travel. To make a long story short, the bustle kind of came undone (it was not buttoned properly i guess) and a bunch of people stepped on my dress. the hem has a bunch of tears at the bottom.. parts of it look kind of like a pair of jeans do when you've worn them a lot and the hem has started to come undone and is ripped... Also, do you think I will even be able to resell my dress now that this has happened? Assuming that it can be fixed, how much would you take off the price for this? If it can be fixed, I bet it will be one of those things where you can see it if you look close, but it shouldn't (knock on wood) be super noticeable. The dress is a Melissa Sweet, is a popular design from her, and I paid about $4300 for the dress, bustle, and hem. Thanks!

a potential buyer could be shorter than you are and need a hem anyway; i wouldn't rule out being able to list your dress and get some decent money back.  i wouldn't factor in what you paid for alterations, hem, bustle and take off $500ish perhaps; i'm assuming that'd be around a $3500 still.  still seems a bit for a second-hand dress.  which MS is this?  i'd check online to see what other girls with your dress are listing at.
