I did it!Can you tell me1)Who you used- Dr. Norden out of Ridgewood2)Good and/or bad review - Thought he was great.  Very open and honest and would sit and answer any question you had.  3) how did you like it - I will say that the first day was extreamly uncomfortable.  I just wanted my eyes to be closed and you have to wear these silly plastic eye patches, but that is to protect your eye.  The next day I was fine no pain and not uncortable at all.  You just have to keep putting drops in your eyes to moisten them.  any questions feel free to ask.  Kelly

I did it too!  About 3 years ago.  I wore contacts forever and my eyes started rejecting them.  I got it done by Dr. Phillips out of Hunterdon Medical Center.  The surgery was very quick and painlaess (partially because they give you a giant Valium a half hour before you go in).  I went home and took a long nap and when I woke up I was watching TV that night.Be careful if you have dry eyes.  My eyes are terribly dry and it took me a little longer to heal - I would do it agin in a heart beat!

Are your eyes dry everyday or just right after the surgery?  How are they now?

my eyes were dry to begin with.  i had to get contacts for dry eyes and even had these collagen plugs put into the tearducts to help.  my eyes were so dry that i couldnt wear contacts which is why i got the surgery.  so i could be an exception.. they are dry in the morning when i wake up so i put drops in first thing.  during the winter they feel a little dryer because of the heat.  when you first get the surgery done they do feel dry so you put the drops in alot. i had bottles in my car, at work, all around the house.  they also give you a prescription drop taht you put in 2x a day to help them heal. the surgery itself is really quick.not even 10 minutes and not painful.  i wish i did it years ago.  i was able to see perfect right away, but was sensitive to light for the first few days. i am really happy i did it.
