need ideas for out of town guests

I need suggestions to put together a welcome package for our out of town guests who will be staying in a hotel.  Any good ideas?

I put cookies, chips, gum, hard candies, candy canes (we were dec), water bottles, tylenol, and mini bottles of wine.

I remember getting a bag that had muffins, chips, fruit, water and juice.  You could put gum and advil in it.

Definitely put water and Tylenol (or some kind of pain reliever). Those will be the most useful and I gaurantee the drinkers will appreciate it.

All of the above suggestions, and if you know someone who's willing to bake, a couple of homemade cookies in each bag are always nice!  Also, a map of the area with suggestions for food and other places to visit- maybe a history of the hotel or town too, great for out-of-towners.

We had a lot of people from all over the US coming in. We gave cookies, crackers, water, Tylenol, maps to the church and reception venue, a list of places to go, places to see that may be of interest, some NJ fun facts, some NJ goodies from the NJ Tourism Department (key chains, pencils, magnets, etc).
