Bridesmaid jewelry

Hello,Does anyone know what kind of jewelry goes with a Halter neckline?  I feel like something of a drop as opposed to a normal necklace, but wasn't sure.  I'm trying to figure out my BM gifts.  Thanks

Doesn't have to be a necklace..could be a bracelet, hair jewels, earrings, brooch, depends on style, etc.

I'd do earrings and a bracelet. Or, if you really want a necklace, a very small drop or a pendant on a thin chain. If it were me, I'd skip the matching jewelry and use that money toward something more personal and individual for them. I don't think it really counts as a gift if you're asking them to wear it as part of their "uniform" for your wedding day. If you want it to be part of the gift, cool, but get them something else as well.

I asked my BM what they wanted because it was halted and to my surprise, they didn't want a necklace. They much preferred the earrings and bracelet combo. For BM to wear, they just felt the necklace would be "too much."

Why not let them wear a bracelet or necklace that they like that goes, or nothing at all?  I don't like when a bride gives me a piece of jewelry that matches the dress but otherwise isn't really my taste or isn't that versatile as a bridesmaid gift-- I don't see it as gift so much as a requirement.  I would get them things that don't revolve around your wedding as a gift.

I'd nix the necklace and go with a bracelet and/or earrings...I wore halter in a wedding last Nov and the bride gave us all earrings...a necklace may have been too much going on in that area.

i def would not wear a necklace with a halter dress.  one, it would be super uncomfortable and two, i think it would look silly.  bracelet and earrings.

Thanks very much.  I was actully wondering if a necklace might be too much.  Yeah, I was just going to do a piece of jewelry not as their entire gift but as part of it and then get something else. I agree, if you get just jewelry then it's not really anything for them but something for the wedding. Thanks again

that's not true.  i gave necklaces as their gift and most of them wear it on a daily basis.  depends on what you pick out.
