Ok, I can't personally speak to this place but it's right down the road from our house so I see people come and go regularly. Best Friends Pet Care(Formerly Shady Grove Kennel)2617 Shady Grove RoadDurham, NC 27703Phone: (919) 596-0235Might be worth checking out. It's located just outside of Brier Creek's area.

Trust me. . I'd like to say what Im really thinking right now. . but for the sake of getting along I've decided to behave. . . I REALLY dont like the idea of leaving Lucy behind. . she wont do well at all. Plus I feel like she might think we may have abandoned her :( With that said though, I've already received word that our upcoming wedding will be the main topic for the 4 day's that we'll be there. . .if I get more '2 cents' I'll have to give some of my own '2 cents' back. This has kept me sane tonight :)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0bKq3x74UE&feature=related enjoy!

I wouldn't want to leave my dog behind either! I don't know of any places first hand in Raleigh, but boarding kennels that also have daycare services tend to be the best. They pay the most attention to your dogs & will tire them out during the day so they won't be too anxious at night. My dog has gone to doggie daycare at a Best Friends here in Charlotte, but I wouldn't leave her there overnight. The dogs being boarded are in this giant warehouse type room just filled with kennels. It didn't seem to be the most relaxing environment for an anxious dog. They just take in so many animals that I can't imagine they get much individual attention. Here are some that look good from their websites, but be ready to be told that they're already booked up for the Thanksgiving holiday.http://www.suitepaws.com/index.htmlhttp://www.canineclubandpet.com/index.htmlhttp://www.dogdaycare.com/nraleigh/index.phphttp://www.youluckydograleigh.com/index.phphttp://www.bonevoyageinc.com/index.php
