Another invitation question

After reading the post below, it got me thinking about how my invitation will read. I want to include his parents names but I don't have any parents. FI said we just leave his parents name off but I dont want to (esp b/c they are helping us a bit).Any suggestionsYou are invited to the marriage ofKtoFIson of Mr and Mrs?

    what about, Mr and Mrs. FI's last name request the honor of your presence at the marriage of   Karma and their sonFI's name

    I like it too - but, imo it makes it sound like the parents are paying for wedding.    How about Karma and Fi along with parents invite you to. . .

    I think that's a good idea to ask them if they have a preference once you have it narrowed to 2 or 3 choices you like.

    Another option, if you have other loved ones that you somehow want to include (grandparents, aunts, even close friends you consider family) could be: Together with their families, K and FI blah blah blah Or With the love and support of their families, K and FI blah blah blah
