What if you dont meet your min?

Idk if I am going to meet my min of 200 for the Atrium, does anyone know if they will throw in some more stuff for the CH or something? I am so annoyed, not one of the people from my side (family & family friends) has answered....

Usually places will let you use the $$$ towards upgrades. I don't have a person min, but I do have a price min for the night (which I will exceed) but if we didn't they said we could use $$ to upgrade food, or table linens.

maybe just ask them if they'll lower the min...it's probably too late, but it can't hurt to ask.  I negotiated a lower minimum with them before we signed the contract, only because we have so many OOT guests.

I didn't think we were going to meet min. for a hot minute, so I called the venue and they said I could use 2 vendors/children toward one adult price to meet minimum. Also, I had my dad send out a last minute invite to some of the other doctors he works with. They have an RSVP of August 1st, but as of now, we are exactly at our min.

I was under my min, and used some of the exta meals to feed vendors (instead of paying exta).  Then I think I had 7-8 left, and they packed up 8 filets for me for pickup after our honeymoon.....we grilled them up at my 4th july party....YUM.

When did you book your wedding?  We lucked out this month I guess, all the minimums were real low, one lady from Mayfair told  us most girls could not make their minimums because of the economy so they are now lowered.  Same with the venue we booked.  Maybe they will work with you, all the venues told us they saw it across the board.

I hope everyone starts responding for you--I had over 40 responses out after the deadline.  I have yet to hear from a few family members(my side) and we know how long ago our wedding was at this point.
