Morning ladies! While helping plan another party with a retro vibe, I got inspired. So if I go mia for a bit it's b/c I'm over at the vintage theme board on the Knot. I wasn't originally into themey things, but (this will explain my knot name) I'm wearing my late grandmother's Christian Dior gown...if not all night, then at least for the ceremony. Means so much to me b/c she passed five years before I was born and my grandfather passed a few months ago. I really wish I could have met her and wish he could have been with me next year to see me get married...so I think wearing the dress will be a nice way to honor them. They were married in 1948. My reception venue is not very modern at all...so it'll take well to some vintage ideas. If anyone has done or seen anything like this and can offer any advice, I'm all ears!
