Hello everyone.  I have seen many good reviews on Il Tulipano on here, but I was wondering if anyone had their ceremony there?I am interested to see any pics of an outdoor or indoor ceremony that took place there.TIA!!!

My friend's wedding was there 2 weeks ago.  She chose Il Tulipiano because of their outdoor ceremony space, but unfortunately it rained on her wedding day and we were forced to have it inside.

We actualy looked there for our ceremony and reception. We really liked the place but the alternate inside is what turned us off. The room inside is extremely small. Its in the basemement with no windows. It just seemed strange to us. That's all I got for you about it though.

Basement?  I didn't even know il Tulipano had a basement!!!

Yes!!! They showed us the alternate room for the ceremony in the basement next to their offices!

That's not where the ceremony was in the wedding I was in two weeks ago. The bridal suite is down there. The ceremony was upstairs in the small room (where the bar is and the Vienesse hour was). It's a beautiful room with lots of big windows.

See that seems strange to me then. Why would they show me that as the ceremony. I know that he def. Told us that room because he was trying to tell us we could decorate it up a bit to make it look nicer.Very wierd.

yeah we didn't see the basement either, well we saw it for the bridal suites, but the alternate ceremony space we were shown was the actual ballroom, which i am fine with....just would like to see pictures of it set up to get a better idea, ideally outside would be what we want, of course you have to assume it will rain thanks for your help so far!

The dessert hour room is really nice and would work well for a ceremony.  I know the room you are talking about...it's across from the bridal suite....they used it to store people's stuff that they drop off for weddings (cardbox, favors,etc).  It's way too small for a ceremony in my opinion...not sure who showed u that....was her name kelly?

No it was the guy with the grey hair in his late 50's...can't remember his name. He was a ver pleasant guy.

We are getting married at The Valley Regency in two weeks. Arent they pretty much right down the street from each other?

I looked at both Il Tulipano and the Valley Regency and I liked the indoor space at the Valley Regency better.  After going to a few weddings where it rained I made sure the place I decided on had a good indoor space.  Which is why I went with the Valley Regency.
