Rave again Hotel Sierra

So My entire family came in from Chicago for the wedding and loved this hotel . The accomidations were great . They loved the pool and hottub  and on the wedding night they kept the bar open I think past 2am while we all sat outside  and drank and were very loud..lol...on Sunday we BBQ'd at their gas grills and had a great time. The truly best thing they did was when my brothers rented van for him and 2 other adults plus my my 4 nieces and nephew blew the transmission and was undriveable back, Enterprise rental car sucked with helping him and my SIL and the kids ended up flying back and had to go out of LaGUardia. The hotel let them have a 3pm checkout so the kids could still swim and they could keep their stuff in the room. They even called around to find a car service to get them to the airport .  They truly are top rate in my opinion

Congrats on your wedding! I actually just visited the hotel this weekend, based on you saying such postive things about it. Question for you...did you guys hang out in the sierre club/lobby area after the wedding? I was told that the bar would be closed, but that we could use that area and bring in alcohol. If you guys used that area, did it work out for you? How did your shuttles work, if you don't mind me asking? Thinking I want to go with them, but just wanted to see what someone's experience was that used them. Thanks!

Everything was awesome we used the hotel bar area and sat outside until very late in the night but make sure you request the bar to stay open because if you dont it doesnt have  a bartender...also the rooms have full size fridges so we had liquor in our own fridges but with the bar area open you can only drink your own beer outside.  We used the shuttle it fit I think 12 and they had another one set to go when we got there but we didnt  need it

When Vanessa e-mailed me she said that the bar would be closed at 10pm. Maybe that's because I'm getting married in January and they have different timing than in the summer. She said we could bring in cooler and our own alcohol though. I really wanted to rent a conference room and bring in my own alcohol and food for the after party, but I had a hard time getting any hotel to agree to that. I figure the lobby/club area will be as close as I can get. So glad to hear that you guys had a good time. Sounds like a lively time too. The girl who gave me the tour kept saying how it was a quiet hotel so I was a little worried about that as we will probably have close to 30 rooms booked and are a loud group.The bbq sounds awesome. Too bad I'm getting married in January. Sounds like it was a real nice time!
