banking question

If someone is writing me a check for about $1500 and they have a valley national account but I do not, if I go to valley national will they cash the check for me? Is there any kind of fee for this? Thanks.

Yep. If you go to the bank it was drawn on they will cash it for you. It varies by bank if there's a fee. Sorry, I don't know valley national bank.

depends on the bank. I would recommend calling the branch first.

I work at a bank PT (sorry, not valley national - so I don't know if they have fees) and know that as long as you have at least two forms of I.D., there is no reason they shouldn't cash it. Other than if there are not enough funds in that persons account... GL!

they should be able to, but why not deposit it in your bank?
