Costa Rico Advice

Hey. My friend is planning a trip to Costa Rica and I know some of you have been there. They are going for about 4-5 nights... married couple .. just want to get away. I've been there and stayed in Jaco and know that north is supposedly really nice too. I don't know anything about the north west coast. Any advice? Areas? Hotels? Thanks, Mena

    jaco is a surf town.  we stayed at arenas del mar in manuel antionio which is about a half hour away from jaco.  we did a tour of the manuel antonio wet forest, zip lining, horse back riding and atv tour.  they aren't going for a very long time, so i would suggest 1 or 2 excursions and the rest at the beach.

    I recommed La Paz Resort Falls where Trista and Ryan honeymooned- its amazing!  Arenal is nice and there is a resort right below the volcano.
