HELP: Transportation in Bergen/Rockland County

My hotel is giving us free transportation, however, the shuttle bus holds only 30 people and we are having around 70 stay in the hotel (way more than we had expected). We are thinking of hiring alternate transportation and just paying for it ourselves b/c we don't want people waiting around after the wedding ends for the shuttle to come back and forth. The hotel is only 10 minutes away from the reception but I just don't want it to be annoying for guests. My wedding is less than 3 wks away and I'm stressing so any help would be great. thanks.

We have the same issue (out of curiosity is it the Park Ridge Marriott -- they make me want to scream with the shuttle issue)  Anyway sorry for the digression. We booked alternate limo service through Travel Limo in Pequannock.  (www.travellimo.net)  We are doing a continuous 1 1/2 hr from 5:30 - 7:00  (CH starts at 6) and a continuous hr starting at 11:00 back to the hotel and it is 225.  I think if we did 1 hr and 1 hr it would have been $150.  i think it is a pretty good bargain.

Thanks for the info. We are staying at the Pearl River hilton and they said if we booked 15 rooms, they would pay for the shuttle. We have now booked around 35-40 and I don't want people waiting for 30 min or so after the wedding is done for the shuttle to come back and forth so we may just go ahead and hire a second for the way back.

kimmy, do you remember what you ended up doing for pearl river hilton transportation? we are having the same problem. how many people/rooms did you have? do you have any reviews on your experience there?
