Are the "gay" commercials airing in NJ?

I keep seeing these commercials trying to get people to stop saying things are "so gay." And while I get the message behind it, these commercials are THE WORST and just so stupid. The last two I saw ended with Hilary Duff saying to "Knock it off!" FI was like, "Why is Hilary Duff yelling at me?"

I saw that commercial with Hilary Duff...it was very awkward. I only saw it aired once though.

I've heards about them, but I don't think I've seen them yet. I'm wondering if we'll see them come election time, since NY and NJ are supposedly considering legalizing gay marriage. I know it's been on the table in the NY legislature, and Corzine has said he'll support it should it be introduced.

i havent seen those yet..but i think i saw a commercial the other day and they said something like "that's gay" Maybe im making it up..but i swore i saw a commercial like that and i was like ummmmm..how did they get away with that one..lolI have no clue what the product was either..lol

This is a personal pet peeve of mine, and I am always yelling at my brother for that and anyone who will listen!  But a commercial, really?  Its like our society can't police ourselves anymore, we need to be told.I think the problem is Hilary Duff - I can't take anything with her in it seriously.

And it's just this sort of diffuse scolding...is that really going to make people stop misusing it? Just the approach bothers me.

I've heard radio commercials. Two girls at a party and one says "omg, like no way, this party is just so gay" and then it becomes a psa asking people to stop saying it.
