New Jersey

Rec a good decently priced

Restaurant in N.NJ. Hudson, Passaic, Bergen, and even NYC would be ok. It would be nice if they have a pre-fixe menu and BYOB is a plus! Close to a lounge/club is also a plus.Fi and I are taking our bridal party and close friends out tomorrow night and our original plans fell through!Any suggestions are appreciated. TIA:)

NJ BYOB locations: http://www.new-jersey.com/epsteins/njbyob.pdfI like Taste of Portugal in Newark a lot, but that's not BYOB and I don't know if it's got a prix-fixe menu.

In the city (not pre-fixe or BYO, but good and cheap and close to fun)...Frank, Supper and Lil Frankie's (they are affiliated with each other)MalatestaIl BagattoMaxPiccolo AngoloAll are really good, very reasonable Italian restaurants.  PA is family run and not very hip (although last time I was there, Ashley Olsen was there with I think her boyfriend and his parents), while the others are all kind of hip in a very casual way.

IN Jjersey City downtown, Prestos is great - small italian restuarant with great food and BYO!  You will need to make reservations though, which they will only do for a group of 6 or more.  the phone is 201-433-4800.Aferward, you can go to Zeppelin Hall, which is a rather new German beer hall on the water which is fantasti
