I tried on dresses for the first time...

Good Morning all.  So yesterday while heading to the craft store with my mom(she lives in bumble PA) I noticed a David's Bridal across the street and actually got my mom to go in.  I tried on a bunch of dresses and FELL in love with this one.  I felt like I belonged on the red carpet!!  I am going to shop around (mom hates DB) but I just feel like this one may be it!  What do you think? http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplayView?storeId=10052&catalogId=10051&catentryId=6110598

honestly, i'm not a fan. But that's not my style. I'd have to see it on you to see. I definitely don't like it on the model though.

I understand why it makes you feel red carpet ready but I prefer a more traditional wedding dress. If this is your dream dress though dont let our opinions keep you from your dream! That is why there are so many wedding dress styles out there.

I like the back view. Not loving the halter neckline, to me they're not super flattering. Would really need to see it on you though.

If you love the dress, then that's what matters. I'd definitely go try on other dresses though.  Since this was your first time trying on, you might be getting caught up in the excitment, which is great, but keep looking.  Good Luck!

I'm not a huge halter person for wedding dresses, but that's just my taste.

I would look at what other bridal shops have to offer before you make your decision.  I am not a huge fan of halter dresses.   But, it is what you like and look good in.
