** I <3 Seabass **

FI and I met with Joseph Lin last night. He was our first photog appointment and we really liked him. Just not crazy about his album style. How negotiable was he on prices and how did your e-pics turn out? I think I saw a post recently that you got them back? Thanks

And there is a picture in your bio of a centerpiece-branches with white flowers. Where is that from and is there any way you can post a link to it so I can send it to my florist? Im in love!!

He was flexible with us as far as price goes but we're getting married in the "off season" so I'm not sure how/if that makes a difference. FI flat out asked him for the "winter discount" cause he's blunt like that. And Joe asked us what we wanted to pay for everything we wanted and he gave us a price that we were very comfortable with. I love our e-pics! He was very easy to work with, and we just had a really good time. I'll try to post a link to some of them. We're getting the guest book made and I'm really excited to see how it comes out. What didn't you like about the album? Was it the actual album itself or the picture layout? His albums are actually one of the reasons we booked him. I personally loved them and I really liked that for the parent album he'll design each one specific to the parents and they're not just replicas of the B&G's album. But if you really don't like them, you could always opt not to get them and DIY using My publisher or a site like that.

Oh and not sure if you saw this but if you mention that you saw him on Brides you can get free e-pics and guest book. http://www.brides.com/local/new_york/wedding_day_services/photographers/results/501347160?start=11

These are some of my favorite pics from our session. http://iheartseabass.weebly.com/Oh and I have no idea where that picture of the branch CP came from found it through google images. But you can just copy the picture and paste it into paint (or some other program) and save it as a jpg. and send it to your florist.

Thanks for the feedback! FI and I saw a few albums of friends that had multiple pics on the pages but they blended into eachother seamlessly. The big pic with the smaller ones in boxes is not our style. I tried explaining what I was looking for to him but I dont think I did a great job so I will find a link for him to look at. He said is would throw in the e-pics and guest book as our wedding present :) I told him I got him from a Knot recommendation. If we book him I will tell him it was you (if you want) and maybe you will get some goodies thrown in for getting him the business.

Thanks! Yeah feel free to mention me!I see what you mean about the boxes around the smaller pics. I don't think I've really ever noticed it being done any other way, now that I think about it. Do you mean that there was like a halo or blurred edges around the smaller pictures in your friends' albums?

The ones i liked had blurred edges and the photos looked seamless. One was usually faded and the other not but neither was boxed off. If we go with Joe I will be sending him lots of samples to see if I can get him to do something more like that for me. For now we are meeting with a few other people to get an idea of what else is out there.
