RANT! Front Street Trattoria in Red Bank

I am so angry right now!! Steam coming out of my ears...3 weeks before the wedding, this is just my luck...So my FIL's went to go check out the front street trattoria in Red Bank for our RD like a month or so ago.  The owner penciled them in and told them thye have up until 5 days before the wedding to pick the menu and give a deposit.  They called today to ask a question and the guy was like, oh sorry we booked someone else on your date, oops.   3 weeks before the wedding and now no place to have our RD.  AWESOME

Thanks stinks...but at least you have 3 weeks to find a place. Honestly, that's not that bad. All you have to do is find a different restaurant. Just give that job to your FIL's so you don't have to worry/stress about it.

That stinks!  Sorry you are going through this.  We had to find a new RD place 5 days before our wedding because the place we were supposed to have it had health code violations!!  So, it can be done.  I don't know of anywhere near there but I am sure somebody on here has some recs.  Good Luck!

Thanks guys! The other issue is that there is a very tight budget for the RD, and front street was great b/c its BYOB and we were able to bring our own desserts, etc.and just order pizza, sandwiches, etc. which werent too expensive.  We're all taking a trip to red bank tomorrow and praying to find somethign!!!

Sorry that this happened Shara, 3 weeks isn't horrible, and with us, you'll find something!How many people are you having? And how much can you spend pp?  I can think to what I know in RB that would be cost effective.

Shara, I had mine at Federici's and paid about $17pp!  And it wasn't just pizza.  Try Courtyard on Main too if they are available.  Lamberti's in Manalapan?  You'll find something!

What a-holes!  Sorry you had that happen to you.  The Dublin House in Red Bank just renovated their entire place, and the upstairs is beautiful- great for parties. Also try La Pastaria
