PSA--pashminas for BMs

I was thinking about buying pashmina's for my BMs since November is likely to be cold and I don't want them freezing their butts off while we are waiting around outside taking photos. The place below (sorry not clicky) has them on sale for $4.95.  Probably not the greatest quality out there, but as these are just going to be a 'little extra' for me, I think they will serve their purpose.http://www.googdot.com/pashmina.html

Did you order yet? I am interested, but the site looks a little shady.

not yet, I have been searching for any reviews good or bad on the site, but haven't found anything.  Will update how it goes when/if I order (or find any reviews).

Just a suggestion, but why don't you try going into the city and getting them there? They sell them all over for about $5 each, and the quality is really good.

they also sell they for $5 at Five Below - they have lots of colors too...

I bought 7 pashminas on 56th st and 6th ave for $30 ($4.28 each). Might be worth the trip... plus they are on nearly every corner for $5 each.

It still is a good deal. A trip to the city could get expensive depending on where you live. I may be heading there for my wedding band within the next few weeks, but otherwise, it's a no go for me. I'll check out Five Below too.

I was about to say what PP said.  If you are trekking to the city any time soon, I would def buy it there.  Same price, no shipping costs, and at least you can see what the quality is in person.

Last week instead of taking a cab I walked from 62nd to 34th looking for these supposed pashmina stands that are on every corner and I did not see 1 person selling them! It was probably still too warm to be selling them? But now that it's getting cooler maybe I'll have better luck?

Maybe I will check out 5 Below before making the trip.  Up until my company moved 6 months ago, I was in midtown and that would have made things much easier!Never really stopped at those stands so I didn't realized they sold them so cheaply.

seabass, by the way, sometimes they are hidden in the handbag carts and aren't that visible.  good luck!

It's not that big of a deal, it was a nice day so I decided to walk for exercise and thought I'd see some on the way. I didn't really go up to the carts and search through them I just kind of looked in the direction and if I didn't see them I kept going. I'm in the city Mon - Fri and I have plenty of time to get them so I'm not worried. Just thought it was funny that I didn't see any. I guess I just had a picture in my head of the streets over flowing with pashminas!

I ordered pashminas for all of my female wedding guests at wholesalepashminascarves.com  (I know - weird and very long URL).  I was very hesitant, but the quality was pretty good, and the over all costs came to under $4 per pashmina after tax and shipping.  I can highly recommend.
