The Hyatt Jersey City

Has anyone been to or had a wedding at the Hyatt in JC? Just wondering how it went and if you had any advice for planning. SS

    Haven't been to a wedding there, but we are getting married there in Feb

    I went to a wedding about 2 years ago. Food and service were amazing, the view is spectacular! One of the better weddings I have ever been to. The room itself is pretty plain though, so I would said be bold with decor. That room can be dressed up to be amazing or it can look pretty plain.

    FI used to work for the audio visual company there. They are a vendor and not part of the hotel but from his experience my advice is negotiate a lot! And the company does amazing lighting (or at least they did whenFI was there :) ) At one point that is where we were planning on getting married but FI got laid off because of cut backs so we didnt really have the "in" for discounts and decided to go a different route.

    Thanks for the advice! I am getting married there at the end of March. The room is pretty plain and the chairs are kind of ugly but the view is amazing! Thanks again. ss
