Help 3 1/2 weeks away and no jewelry!

Over labor day weekend I posted some questions about jewelry and I am still baffled. A lot of people suggested a prominent bracelet but my hands are very scarred from an accident and I hate drawing attention to them (no pictures of our ringed hands for us).  Here is a photo of my dress any suggestions? Right now for the lack of anything I am thinking of a simple cross necklace. Here is a picture of my dress.  TIA

I'm a necklace fan, always have been, I do not like bracelets at all, so since you don't want to go with a bracelete, you go with a cross like you said or maybe even pearls.I got a pearl necklace that sits very nicely.

Whatever kind of necklace you decide to wear, I would go with a shorter chain.  You don't want it to come down too close to the neckline of the dress. I think a nice cross would look pretty or a crystal necklace. I actually wouldn't suggesta  prominent bracelet for that dress. If any bracelet, I would say a dainty tennis bracelet or something.

I probably wouldn't do a necklace with that actually-- maybe something very simple, but probably nothing. I think it would be fine to go without.

Do you know how you're wearing your hair? Do you have a headpiece or earrings yet?If your hair will be up, I would just get some nice chandelier earrings and call it a day.

Hair will be either half up or all up.  I have a headpiece but it is really small, just a tiny band.  I will also be keeping my veil on all night (scars on back/shoulders I want to hide too).  The veil has embroidery/beading.  So maybe chandeleir earring will be enough One more question:  Since the cross I was thinking of wearing is my grandmothers would chandelier earrings and a small delicate cross look OK together.I was thinking of these earrings

I personally think chandelier earrings should be worn without necklaces.

I'd do the chandelier earrings, no necklace.P.S. Is your dress better than new? I'm pretty sure someone was selling that exact dress recently.

Melissa - unfotunately my dress is only new - I was slightly disappointed. I went to several Bridal Stores and told them I would like this dress in Better than new condition and noone could accomodate my request. I feel cheated :-(

Yeah, too bad. Don't worry, your dress will still be pretty good on your wedding day. Not better than new, but no one will really notice.=p

I usually like the less is more look...so I say chandiler (sp?) earrings.  I do love the idea of wearing your gmas cross, if you dont want to wear it the whole time, could you wear it for the ceremony only and then take it off for the reception?  This way you get two different looks on your day.

I went shopping yesterday for wedding day jewerly.  I went to every store in my mall.  Macy's by far had the best selection and they had awesome sales going on.  The sales associate said the next sale starts the 7th and will be 50% off, plus 15%  plus 20%.  Crazy! I bought pearl and crystal chandelier earrings, and a multistrand peal bracelet with a crystal connector.  They have a lot of pretty jewerly!
