FYI - if you want to see the lighting in the new ballroom, Sal (from Magic Moments) is running appointments next Wednesday night (10/7) to do demo's, etc.  We'll be there so that we can decide on what we want with the lighting - easier to decide when you can physically see everything.

did you use them for your dj? we met with them but are going a different way. we're still considering using magic moment's lighthing (the LED most likely)

Yes, we're using them as DJ and for lighting.

I did meet with them but no one I knew had used them plus I couldn't find any reviews online. I won't be able to get out next week but would like to hear about it.

I've seen it before...and my mom and I were SOOO in love with it.  I remember he asked us which of the lighting we wanted and I just looked at my mom and we both said "All of it!!"  I think the thing that blew me away the most was the chandeliers all changing colors - and the pin-spot lighting of the tables - and I just loved that it was all integrated into the room - no infrastructure and wires that are exposed.  We're going next week so FI can see it and we can work out exactly what will happen for us.  I'll report back then.

Thanks for the info, my fiance and I have been interested in seeing what the lighting situation is all about, even though I feel like the room is sooooo fabulous it doesn't need it.  Do you have contact info for Sal?
