So I cried with the organist

The very first song he played. Pathetic. When he played Canon in D it got worse...then I calmed down. He played 2 seconds of the bridal march and I was like, "Stop. It's great." He laughed it off but I bet he has me tagged as a basketcase. Hopefully the day of the nerves will calm my emotions down.

    Not pathetic at all! Maybe you got it all out of you today and will be fine day of. I'm sure the organist has seen the same or worse.

    I used to get teary listening to our ceremony music as it got closer to the wedding. But the day of, it literally just made my heart skip a beat and I SO happy. No tears.

    Don't put this idea in my head! If I cry during the music that is at my ceremony, that mean I will be crying while singing some other poor brides wedding! I always get teary for here comes the bride tho... but at least I don't sing that!

    Lol, I hope the day of I have that so happy feeling so it overcomes my sentimental nature. The church where we are getting married is not my church so I think the whole idea of me being "there" also made it real for me.

    I don't think he thinks you are a basketcase. I would be thrilled if something I played was able to move someone to tears like that.
