e-pics: when can I bug photographer?

What's an average/reasonable amount of time to wait to see engagement pics?I'm admittedly very eager to see them, but I know he's swamped, so I don't want to be a pain. I don't think it's been too long *yet*, but I'm just curious what's the average wait time.

Did he give you an estimate of how long it would take? Our photographer said it would take 2 weeks and he got them to us at exactly the 2 week mark.

I think it took us around 5 weeks.  I was going crazy!

No, he didn't give us a time frame. I should've asked, but didn't. He just said he's send us an e-mail when they were ready. It's been  3 weeks. I know he's fully booked for October with weddings, but you know... I wanna see my pics =)

I might be wrong, but I believe you are using John Arcara for your photographer. When we got ours done they were up around two weeks, but we had our done in December and I just keep stalking his site he did not email me that they were up, but then again his daughter was born the Monday after our shoot.  I would give him another week or just email him and ask.  You have every right to ask him.

Just start bugging him now. I'm sure he'll be super excited to do your wedding once he realizes that you're just gonna pester him until you get your photos. ;-) I don't understand people who think they must find out exactly when they can see their product. He's a professional and I'm sure he's working as hard as he can to get them to you as soon as possible.

I don't understand people who think they must find out exactly when they can see their product.I'm sure there’s a lot that you don't understand. But, it's perfectly acceptable to be told when you'll be receiving a product you're paying a good deal of money for.
