Good morning!  I had ANOTHER talk with my Dad last night about the whole invitation thing. Talk about drama. blah! Cheryl, I know it stinks....but it may not be so bad to become buddy buddy with him. It helps to know people in high places!

oh yes, another. He said that he won't bring it up again, thank goodness. And it's not that I don't understand why he's upset, cause I do. But he gave me the spiel about how he had to pay child support to my Mom and he struggled to pay his mortage. And that my Mom probably took half the child support he gave her and put that away for me, so technically half of what my Mom gave me for the wedding is from him too. blah blah blah.So then I had to stop him and say that my Mom struggled too. We never ate out, money was tight, etc. His response, "but you always went on these fancy vacations". Yes, we did, when my Mom married my stepdad and had his additional income. I said to him "You didn't have that second income when you remarried because "stepmom" didn't work". so blah blah blah.This is getting long, sorry.Anyways, he said what he needed to. I tried to defend my decision. It is what it is, and we can't go back and change it now.And as for who's walking me down the aisle. I agreed to him walking me alone, but that my Mom will come out into the aisle when we get to the end and give me away with him.  I gave in to that just to try and make him a little more happy.I told FI last night he better not F*ck up, because I never want to do this again. This being get married and deal with wedding planning! lol

Chelsea - LOL - poor FI Glad to hear this is out in the open and resolved, now you don't have to worry about it anymore.

Glad to hear it's all out in the open and that you found a good compromise for walking down the aisle.  Hopefully it will stay shut and resolved now.

Good morning!  Chelsea- Glad to hear that there was a compromise made.  Things will go well, I'm sure   And ditto to not go through wedding planning again.  I only want to do it once!

Good morning! I told FI last night he better not F*ck up, because I never want to do this again. This being get married and deal with wedding planning! lol Chelsea ~ that made me laugh! I'm glad this are resolved with your dad now. Did you do the shred last night?Cheryl ~ agree with chelsea, doesn't hurt to have friends in high places. At the very least he should be getting you a very nice wedding gift after being such a dedicated chauffer!

No I suck_I didn't do the shred yet. Tonight! Hopefully! haha I just have no motivation. I wish I was born with the exercise gene. Instead I was born with the couch potato gene.

Hey Shred Ladies - I did Shred last night - I really did not want to.  Tonight will be my 7th work out (should be 8th). I skipped one day

Quick response so swamped! Chelsea so glad its resolved it takes a lot sometimes to get it t that point! I actually have a pretty good relationship with him, and totally understand, its just so weird trying to chit chat when I'm half asleep trying to get to work!

I'm in the same boat Kristin. I really didn't want to get up this morning to do it, but I somehow did it. I did skip a day though so I'm on day 5 instead of 6.
