MOB Dress Help

Need your help ladies. I've take the afternoon off work to work on some wedding items I need to wrap up. One is getting Mom a dress she loves.  Fortunately, she has one she likes, since we're 51 days until the wedding!  Yikes!!

So, she's found one she likes, but we'd need to order it in her size.  Pearl's Place has it, but we're trying to hunt it down to try on.  We're headed out this weekend.  Now, as I've mentioned, I'm an advanced age bride, so when you think about MOB, my Mom's probably closer to the age of most of your grandmoms.  So, we're looking for something long, with a jacket in a size 14-16, which is what's making it tougher.  We're in Raleigh, and we've hit the department stores--several times--I've searched the major department store retailers online repeatedly, we've been to Kannon's, Serotta's, Cameron Clothing Company, Tyler House, and over to Dina Porters in Chapel Hill.  We were thinking about heading east on Saturday, since we know there are some wonderful ladies clothing retailers in eastern NC.

Any suggestions you all have would be appreciated.  Thanks.!!

P.S.  I just received a response from Daymor--who makes the dress she likes.  Looks like most of their retailers, other than Serotta's and Cameron Clothing Company, are in Greensboro and Winston-Salem, so we may need to head west this weekend, instead of east, so if you have suggestions in that direction, those would be great as well.  Thanks.!!

Hi Barbara! I'm no help for you, but we are getting ready to start the MOB shopping and I'm going to check out some of the places you just mentioned :)

Hey Heather--my new motto:  Who knew it would be more difficult to find the MOB dress than the bridal gown!!

We went to Dillard's Saturday and they had a pretty good selection. It's just a little tough because Mom needs a jacket and wants a long dress.  And, if she wore a size or two smaller, I think it might be easier.

Let me know if I can help!!

Oh, one more thing, if your Mom wants to order something, I stopped by a store in Greensboro named Divas.  They had the best selection for mothers that I've seen and the owner was very nice.  We just don't have time to order anything.
