Airfare question....

Our airfare went down for our honeymoon by almost $170 per ticket I think.  Does anyone know if American Airlines will give you a credit at least for the difference? I know they probably won't reimburse me, but thought maybe they'd give me a credit.

It will most probably depend on the type of ticket you bought and the restrictions associated with that. One your ticket or e-ticket confirmation there sould be a ticket-type section you can google that and see what the restrictions are.  Or call and ask - that never hurts. I travel a lot for work though and the airline industry is probably the least customer-centric of all indsutries.

there may be a fee to adjust the price, so you have to see if the fee is less than the drop in price.

try it - never hurts to ask -- because of my husband's medical issues at the time we decided to change our flights from a tuesday to a thursday and continental gave us a credit back for the difference in price - I still had to pay a change fee, but it basically was a wash with the credit back
