I feel awful...

I sent my friend an email today just asking her if she was coming or not since I hadn't received her rsvp...she never got the invite and didn't think she was invited. Ugh, so annoying! She got my shower invitation and sent a gift and now I feel awful.Obviously I told that I definitely sent her one and can send her another...I just still feel bad!

    That stinks.. But I think its obvious since she went to the shower she would be invited to the wedding. It happends. I hope she understands and still attends. What did she say?

    I just saw her email and responded. She was like "I hate to tell you this but I never got an invtiation and thought I was invited."....I hope she doesn't think I am lying...obviously not if I emailed her looking for an RSVP right?! I hope there aren't too many more of these!

    I think that since you reached out to her she will believe you - don't feel bad .  I understand how you would feel that way, but at least you went to her :)

    Don't feel bad! Unless you were really sneaky, she has to know that it is the USPS that is to blame (particularly after she receives the missing invitation)

    I am sure she will undertstand. There are certain things out of your control.  Thankfully you were able to get ahold of her though.

    She probably feels so much better that she knows she was indeed invited.   Don't feel bad because it's completely not your fault.

    Aww I'm sorry.  It's definitely not your fault, but I can understand how it would make you feel bad.  At least now she knows she's invited!

    Don't feel bad-that happened to me too! It was clearly the post offices fault, but I still felt terrible anyway. I'm sure your friend knew she was invited, especially since she was invited to your shower.

    It's just so annoying that this is such an important piece of the puzzle and it's frustrating that you have no control over whether or not it actually makes it to where it's supposed to be.
