Update on my "lumps"

Went to the Dr. today. I got some good news I guess. The Dr. said it's probably swollen lumphnode glands. I was told to wait a week to see if they go down or if they get any bigger. She doesn't seem too concerned. Thats a relief so far. Oh it cost $75 to see the Dr. today. Not so terrible. I want the only one without insurance on the sign in sheet either. There was probably about 5 others on the list of about 20 people. That's ashame.

I know I want to go to another. This is the second Dr. I have been to. The first was at a walin clinic though. I wish I could go to another but I'm not sure I could pay another. I might just wait like they said.

Well a week or two isn't going to make or break you.  If they're STILL there, I'd consider seeing someone else tho.  Glad to hear good news though!!!!

That is great news.  Good idea to get a 2nd opinion though.  When I read your post title Fergies song My humps came into my head.  That was Fergie right?

Amerz, that's what I had thought too.  The same thing happened to me a few years ago and I freaked. i had these lumps behind my ears and I swore there was something seriously wrong. Drs. told me they were swollen lymph nodes and that i may have had a virus or ear infection or something. Just like the drs said they went down in a week and were completely gone within 2-3. Just keep an eye on them and dont play with them. I was so obsessed pushing and pressing on them they actually got bigger and became very red and painful. Good luck! :)

Thank you all for your concern! I really appreciate it. I'm overall a pretty healthy person so when this happened I did freak. I do plan on keeping a close eye on them. Yes it hard to push them every couple hours to see if the have gone down yet. Thanks again!

Thats what I assumed..... does it hurt when you push on them at all? They should be down soon I hope!

It doesn't hurt without pushing on it. If I do push on it its not serious pain. Its more like pressure. Very strange. It looks like a marble on the side of my hairline that's under the skin.
