30 day shred

Okay so I'm really thinking of purchasing this, is it really supposed to be 30 striaght days? Also has anyone here had the results that the DVD states 20 pound or secinificant toning? Can some one explain Level 1, Level 2? Is it 30 days on 1 then 30 days on 2?

Just do yourself a favor and don't try to do level 1 and level 2 in the same workout back to back- my MOH did this and I thought she was going to faint!

I use it as the fill-in for days that I can't make it to the gym, so I haven't been doing it according to the 30 day plan, but when I do it I definitely feel it all over for about two days afterward. It's a killer workout. If you have Comcast you can get workouts 1 and 2 for free On Demand. That way you could try it to see if you like it before you buy.

I think if you want to see the results that they claim that you will get you have to do it for 30 straight days. You start with level 1 and when you feel comfortable with that you move up to level 2 and then 3. I don't think there's a set time table to progress to the next level you just do it when you're able to.I was doing it for about 2 weeks straight (well maybe a day off here and there) and I really feel like I started to see results as far as toning goes. And I lost 2lbs but I feel like that could have just been normal fluctuation. Anyways, I've completely fallen off and haven't done it in longer than I care to admit so I'm gonna start back up again.

I just got mine in the mail yesterday and tried Level 1 - I'd recommend getting a varying set of dumbbells - for example I have 2 lbs., 3lbs. and 5 lbs. and I bought them at TJ Max for like $4 a set...its worth it because you don't want to strain yourself but on the other hand you don't want to be doing it too lightly Some of the exercises will be harder than others and for me it was nice to have the difference in weight when one was too heavy

ditto kris on the weights. At first I was trying to use 5lb weights for all of them and I just couldn't do some of the exercised. I dropped down to 3lbs for some of them.

I use 3 lbs also.  I try to do the video on the days I don't go to the gym but I've been slacking too.

Yeah Steph (is is Steph or Stef?) I got that advice from one of your posts a week or two ago so I made sure to go out and get all different weights.  I only did level 1 but I watched all of the levels just so I knew what I was in for - Jillian is a freak

yup it's steph. I was getting ready to go to level 2 but since I took a little hiatus so i think I might have to start over with level 1.
